Walking into a church for the first time can feel like a big step, but you are warmly invited and truly welcome here. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a new church home or simply curious, we want your visit to be relaxed and meaningful.

What to expect
Our Sunday services typically last about an hour and include music, prayers, a short talk and time for reflection. You don’t need to know any special words or actions; just come as you are. Some people like to dress smartly, others casually; both are perfectly fine.

When you arrive
Greeters will meet you at the door with a smile and can answer any questions. They will hand you a pew sheet, which contains notices and readings, and you will find hymn books and orders of service in the back of the chair in front of you. You’re welcome to sit anywhere. If you have children, there are activities and spaces designed especially for them at the back of church, and you’re free to keep them with you if you prefer. There is a box of fidget toys which you can borrow if you find it helpful to keep your hands busy while you listen to the service.

Communion and participation
If communion is part of the service, which it usually is, everyone is invited to come forward. You’re welcome to receive bread and wine if that’s meaningful to you, or you may simply ask for a blessing. There’s never any pressure to give money, sing or receive communion.

Stay a while
After the service, we’d love for you to stay for tea, coffee and conversation. It’s a great way to meet others and get a feel for the life of the church.
