Last Sunday, we were delighted to hold our very first Mini Messy service of 2026, and it was a joyful, creative afternoon shared together.

This term, our Mini Messy theme is “I’m Special”, helping children explore how much they are loved and valued by God. For our first session, we focused on the story of The Lost Sheep from Luke 15.

To bring the story to life, Timmy the doll joined us dressed as a shepherd, helping to tell the story in a fun and engaging way. The children listened as we explored how the shepherd cares for every single sheep and goes looking for the one that is lost — reminding us that each of us is special and precious to God.

After the story, everyone enjoyed getting creative by making their own sheep, followed by singing worship songs together. We ended our service by saying the Lord’s Prayer, bringing a calm and reflective close to a lovely afternoon.

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, curious, and enthusiastic, and we’re really looking forward to continuing our Mini Messy journey together over the coming weeks.
