St. Paul’s Church is delighted to welcome its new vicar.
At a packed service on 25th January, the Reverend Kate Massey was formally installed at St. Paul’s by Bishop Christopher of Coventry, supported by a host of dignitaries including MP Marcus Jones, the Mayor and Mayoress of Nuneaton and Bedworth, along with many clergy and local people.
Kate, hailing originally from Falkirk in Scotland, brings her husband and three children to Stockingford, having previously lived and worked in Kenilworth and Meriden.
She says “We are looking forward to settling into the church of St. Paul’s and the community of Stockingford. We believe very much that it is where God wants us to be and are excited about all the adventures, new friends and new experiences that the future holds”.
St. Paul’s had been without a vicar since the retirement of Fr. Mick Vincent, after 25 years’ service, in February 2014, but is now very pleased to welcome Kate and her family.
