Update on Interregnum
Finance: Income similar to last year. Gift Aid claim received, and storm damage claim met by insurance company.
New Mothers’ Union Banner to be dedicated on 21 September.
Vicarage Inspection carried out with Diocesan officers who had agreed to carry out improvement works. No redecoration required.
Mission and Spirituality: 8 essential qualities – clarification required on questionnaire regarding worship and congregation would be asked to give further feedback on this aspect. Advert had been unsuccessful in recruiting part-time youth worker – groups running at present with volunteers, but a youth worker would be required and a regular female presence at Friday Club.
Buildings and Finance: Kitchen revamp still on agenda and sub-committee meeting arranged to move this forward.
Social: Calamity Jane evening for Harvest 11 October. Harvest charity Zoe’s Place for donations – speaker coming to 10am service on 28 September. Donations of tinned food for Trussell Trust Foodbank.
Holiday Club well attended and enjoyed by all – thanks to everyone who made this a success. New Pilots recruited from this event.
Pilgrim Course off to a good start.
