On Friday 17th February at 7.30pm, John Burton, Chairman of the George Eliot Fellowship and Viv Wood, lecturer, are coming to St. Paul’s.
They are both experts on George Eliot and will be talking about her and in particular discussing her novel ‘Silas Marner’. It is 150 years since George Eliot wrote this novel but there are appropriate messages in it for us today.
There will be cake, coffee and tea, and everyone is welcome.
Come and learn a bit about the lady whose literary reputation put our little town on the international map.
Contact is Andrea Godfrey (St. Paul’s Reading Group) on 024 7634 3492.
