PCC Minutes – July 2010

The PCC met 14 July, when the following items were discussed:

 Finance: Income remained steady – reclaim of tax awaited in the region of £6000. CUF grant of £4500 approved.

 Summer Gala income down due to clash with football match, but excellent result. Small group to meet to discuss projection system as three quotes had been received.

 Quotes to be obtained for new altar furniture. Architect amending plans for proposed storage area, Paul had written Statement of Need, Architect to write Statement of Significance. Planning permission will last for 3 years.

Diocesan Share: New system in 2012 based on number of clergy at Church, i.e. £47000 to be paid by this parish.

Management Groups:

Buildings and Finance – no minutes – stairs light fitting. PCC agreed that dodo rail be fitted – Monday group to do this.

Jane reported that cleaning was gong well – a pro forma to be prepared and circulated in September after further PCC discussions.

Pastoral and Social and Worship and Spirituality: No minutes but Jane outlined results of recent meeting which discussed Summer Talks, Back to Church Sunday, Harvest, Christmas and Lent.

Mission and Outreach: No meeting


Ford Festival – due to late information and holidays, we would not be taking part this year.
